Who's The Boss?

Most nights I try to read with the six-year-old Zoologist and the four-year-old Ballerina before bedtime. Right now we are on book #5 in the Magic Treehouse Series, Night of the Ninjas. Since it was a Friday night I read two chapters, something the Zoologist begs for every time we read. After I had finished reading this conversation took place.

Zoologist: Dad, do you have to go to work tomorrow?
Me: No, tomorrow is Saturday, I don’t have to work?
Zoologist: Is your boss going to go to work?
Me: I don’t think so. My boss is Mr. Scott. You met him at church, he sits in the booth in the back and helps with the sounds sometimes.
Zoologist: O yeah.
Ballerina: I know who else is your boss.
Me: O yeah, who?
Ballerina: Mommy.

Yep, these are my kids.
