Happy National Dadgum That's Good Day!
Aaron Sharp | March 1, 2021
As I’m sure most of you know, today, March 1st is National Dadgum That's Good Day.
No doubt you, dear reader, celebrate this holiday every year, but would it surprise it to learn that I am just learning about this fantastic ode to all things good and beautiful? The last year has been quite the kick in the teeth for many of us, and so I thought it would be well worth my time to write (and hopefully yours to read) a top 10 list of things about which I, Aaron Sharp, despite pandemics and freak snow storms and everything else going on in the world, am willing to declare, “Dadgum, that’s good!”*
Children as they sleep.
Brisket sandwiches from Hutchins BBQ.
Hugs from small humans as they say, “You’re the best.”
Pretty much the entire menu at Maple Street Biscuit company.
The writing of Alan Jacobs
Marriage, after nearly 15 years.
Just about anything with bacom marmalade on it
Friends with whom you can communicate purely through gifs.
Sermons that are high on Bible and low on minutes.
Being able to go to the bathroom without having to use a flashlight.
*Upon further reflection, it is possible that I was quite hungry when I made this list.
